2024 Thursday March 21, 2024 (earliest) Record heat for a week.  Ice went out March 17th, but refroze.  After March 21, minor refreezing overnight at south end. 68 (lowest) Sunday December 22, 2024 A few days of cold, windy weather.  Overnight low of -21C resulted in full freeze.
2023 Friday April 14, 2023 Record breaking heat for 3 days melted ice quickly.  Little wind made for a simple melt with no reported problems 96 Saturday January 13, 2024 Third year in a row in January.  Second latest freeze.  A week of warm weather then whole lake froze the same day.
2022 Thursday April 14, 2022 Warm days in early April, then turned cold.  Dark ice and slow melt.  East/south went first, pushed north/west 101 Saturday January 8, 2023 South froze early with an initial cold spell, but continued warm weather stalled the north end and centre of lake.
2021 Wednesday April 7, 2021 Ice lingered at the south end.  Lowest spring water level in recent memory 102 Monday January 3, 2022 South and north froze, followed by east side.  West froze a couple of days later.
